- I’m an individual investor who trades part time. I consider myself a swing trader of momentum stocks with a holding period of anywhere from a few minutes to a day to a month based on technical analysis and MOMO. I soon discovered how easy it was to make money so I easily became addicted to the rush of making a few thousand dollars in a matter of minutes. But then the market crashed and I then discovered how easy it was to lose money. However I survived and came back stronger having learned invaluable lessons. "The graveyard of past traders is littered with those who couldn't get the needle out of their arms. Markets can destroy you emotionally, physically and financially. You must keep perspective." I have since found that my trading style has changed to take what the market gives me knowing that 10,000 others are trying to do the same. So I am on a journey of mastering the markets and learning from the daily lessons of real time experience. Only real market trades can hone your skills, all else is just playing.
